(My apologies for anyone who has recieved this twice: I simply responded
not realizing that it was going to onelist.com. What is the situation,
anyway? Are both lists supposed to move to a single address and if so
which one?)

> Now, how did things go in the rest of the known world.

Here in the far northern reaches of the world, where even on a sunny day
the icy cold winds bite through the thickest of wool cloaks, we held a
wonderous collegium where members of the populous gathered inside to share
their bountious knowledge on topics of all nature.

For entertainment we were most excited to find that a band of jugglers
were willing to come and put on a most wonderful show which included the
elaborate tossing and passing of both fire and knives between the
experienced members of the band. Also, for a humble place at the feast
table they did agree to teach the populous how to imitate them in their
art.

Some songs were shared and exchanged, but by the end of the feast such was
the languor of all present that no voice was ready for any vigorous
activity and quiet talk and soft music continued until the cars came to
take all once more unto their own demesnes.

In all, great joy and energy was expended by all, despite various minor
complications that arose in the day, such as the well running dry and thus
being forced to carry in all the water for our use.

These are the happenings in the northern Barony of Winter's Gate as
scribed here unto the members of this list on the .xxix. day of the .iiii.
month of this year, that being April, by the hand of Godric Logan of the
Barony of Winter's Gate, Oertha.
