Greetings and Salutations from Lord Wilhelm Dichtermann, Speaker of the
Northshield Bardic College.

Bardic Madness IX: Venice Rising will be held on April 24, 1999 in the
shire of Rudivale (Grand Forks, ND). This annual bardic extravaganza
features fifteen (yes, count them, fifteen!) challenges to stir the
creative juices and provide a full day of entertainment for those
practicioners and patrons of the arts bardic, poetic, musical, and theatrical.

Firstly, if you can make it, please come! It's sure to be a wonderful
time, and will be all the better if you're there. Specific event details
can be found at the event website: http://members.aol.com/rudivale/bardic .

Secondly, if you can come, please teach! I'm helping Owen (as in Owen
Alun, the guy who came up with this crazy idea 9 years ago) arrange for
classes during the day, and am looking for teachers in performance
techniques and practice, period poetry and literature, the role of the
bardic arts in history, and the role of the bardic arts in the SCA.

If you would like to teach a class at Bardic Madness, please contact me in
the next two weeks (i.e. before 3/27) so I can coordinate the schedule with
Owen with adequate time for him to make preparations.

My home email is:	waltner at itasca.net
My work email is:	wallace.waltner at synet.com (I have been travelling quite
a bit for work in the past few weeks, and you might reach me quicker here,
depending on the week.)

Take care, and hope to hear from you soon!
