Okay, I am going to snip from 2 emails below.

So why not learn some authentic songs that someone else has already collected?
In fact, I don't think that anyone should have to do any research at all to
play our game; if you just want to perform, I'm happy to "spoon feed" you
material. We both have fun, everyone enjoys the result.

Period music is
cool. Period music is nifty.I don't understand why there seem to be people
making a case for performing OOP songs, when there are so many beautiful, fun
period songs in the world. Yes, not everybody can find period music easily,

Okay, I have been performing as a bard for a couple of years, and I have
managed to scrounge up a couple of period pieces. But I feel like it has been
luck that I have found the few period pieces that I have found.

You both "hint" that it is not hard to find/learn period pieces. I don't know
any bards who have period music to teach me.

Where do I look for cool, nifty period music????

All of you who are talking about trying to only perform period music, do any
of you have tapes of period pieces? Would any of you be willing to make tapes
of yourself performing period songs?
