Oops - a blooper - The relative minor is actually the VI chord, not the
three chord...which you obviously already knew as shown by your next
statement:

> major (no sharps or flats) has A minor as its relative minor.
Also:
> A major has E
> minor as its relative.
E *major* is the V (five) chord. The relative minor of A is F# minor
(the VI chord).
