Everyone has their perception of what makes The Game work. There are many
venues within the SCA, many wells from which to sip, no need to drown in

But I will repeat, given the choice between everyone contributing and pure
unadulterated Period material...grab a beer on your way out, Milord, if you
simply cannot stand it and must leave.
But we will let Milord Newbie sing the song he knows.
After all, his name once was Mathurin, once was Marcus, once Gregory and
many, many others.
Yes...we will let him sing the song he knows.
Then, if the lad shows talent, aptitude, interest...that is the time to
take him aside and show him wonders he little thought to find.
