Being more fluent in Scots dialect than your average American, I would be
happy to aid you (and anyone else) in the pronunciation and meaning of
particular words or lines. If I don't know myself, I have access at work
to a great comprehensive dictionary of Scots terms, which not only gives
the meaning, but also a range of dates in which the word was in common
usage (opr literary usage), which could, in some instances, help to date a
particular set of lyrics. Let me know if I can be of service.
Aye,
Eogan
