In order to save on typing time I have simply inserted the info my
deputy has given for the Bardic symposium into this message, and cc'd it
to the minstrel and SCA-ARTS list so that I can get it out at a better
rate.
	From myself:
We are still seeking instructors that will commit to the date, a
few have had to pull out, (okay, two: one for health reasons, and one will
be in Europe at the time. Niether are SCA, so the reason they said yes is
me, I suppose...)
To date the only "Okay by me!" answers I have:
	Mistress Luciana deRidolfi Costume
Baron Cormac Mac Cumail Norse Law
Dorcas Whitecap, (at least she hasn't said no!)
	Myself....
And there are about six others that have yet to re-contact me, and
two others that might say yess, as they just contacted me from this
mailing!
	From Corwyn, (my deputy):
Date: May 30th.

Time:8 am to 6 pm? Set up at 7:30, registration from 8-10, classes from
10-6 with the exception of a lunch hour at 12.

Accomodations: 6 classrooms holding @12-20, 1 auditorium holding @190,
and general meeting area outside of the classrooms.

Cost: (to the Bardic group hosting the shindig.) This is not the user
fee)$360 for accomodations. No feast, no food needed. Copy costs are
covered by myself. I already do @200+ copies/month anyway.

Fee: Expecting @ 100. Site Fee, $4-5. (this is new, as the expected
funding is not comming.)

Food: The Hawk's Nest (A caf. on the other side of 4th floor) open from
11am - 2pm. A myriad of off sites available.

Crash Space: As to local folks I don't know......
Hotels/Motels run about $50-60/70 for most places/ The cheapest known is
the Westminster Inn rates $45-55. Worst is Holiday Inn at $99. I have a
list ready and available. It is not a complete listing of everything in
Law, but gives a broad variety.

Crown: If to show up (doubtful), food can be provided by myself, as
house is within easy transport distance for comestables. Court can be
done (If wished by the Crown) in the auditorium.

Classes: 6 classes x 7 hours (not including lunch) = 42 1 hr. classes
allowable. A list is currently being compiled by Mikal and myself. A
class list will probably not be ready for the Mews, but if needed, an
"as have" list can be.

Fighting: Not at this time.

Merchanting: Merchant fee? As far as KU is concerned, they don't care if
anything is sold as long as: 1)It isn't illegal (given) 2) No food sold
and 3) It doesn't compete with anything in the KU bookstore on Level 2.
We will have space (and plenty) since we will have Level 3 (for the most
part) to ourselves.

	From me, again:
The plan is the bardic circle will go on all day in one of the
areas. (perhaps the auditorium type room,) with all the class rooms used
for fun n' classes. If a theatrical group(s) show, then the circle can
include their performances.

I hope this answers all questions. Please feel free to help,
comment, or throw brickbats. (I can use the brickbats!)
	Mikal
