I set a song to that tune; I don't know if it was the one you
heard. My song has a chorus like this:
Bye, bye to the Pensic War. I
Brought a flagon in my wagon;
Now my flagon is dry.
Those good ol' knights are drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singin', "This'll be the third time I die,
This'll be the third time I die."
It has several stanzas on the subject of the Pennsic War, and
each stanza has one or two puns in it.
Sound familiar?
