minstrel: Journalling

Greetings all :) I've just recently begun to keep a journal of everything 
I do that is somehow related to bardic - performances, practices, 
discussions & debates, jam sessions etc. I keep a record of when, where, 
who, what we did, how I & others felt about it, and conclusions drawn 
from the occasion. I'm not quite sure where I picked this idea up from 
but it's turning out to be one of the best things I've ever done. I'm 
wondering if any of you have ever done this and what words of wisdom have 
you to impart to the rest of us as a result?
