minstrel: Fools circle, et al....

Greetings all;

I just wanted to put my two pence worth in and say that I agree with what
Mikal the Ram had to say about including the Fool's Circle on the Minstrel
list.  I for one have no problem with it and find it rather entertaining.  I
see no harm in having some fun and who really cares if there is some filk
involved.  Sometimes when we strive too hard for authenticity we lose sight
of what's really important and that is that we should have fun doing this.
 As for it being "beneath" us, when has anything ever been beneath a bard?

And that's all I have to say on the subject......
