Good day to thee, and the rest -

While I can not give thee as in depth an analysis as thou hast provided to us
on one or two ocassions I have one or two comments of a general nature that I
can make. Structurally I have no problems with the poem. It's the theme I'm
a little lost on. During the first read through I just couldn't get a feel
for the overall message in the poem - it just seemed a little vague. In
fact, when I had finished reading it I had to go back to the title to
remember what the poem was supposed to be about. However, having done that
and then having re-read the poem it came together a bit more for me. Now,
there is nothing wrong with a poem that takes more than one read to
appreciate. However, I still feel as though there is some element missing in
it. It's like, all the generalities are in place but it needs something
specific, some sort of anchor, to tie it all together.

So in answer to your question of "too little, too much? I'd respond that I'm
not certain but it does have an unfinished feel to it.

Please don't think of me as being critical - I know that it can be
frustrating to write something and know that it has potential and yet also
know that there is something missing. I get the feeling that you have
reached that point with this particular poem. Overall I am impressed by the
depth of your knowledge of the art and I fear that I have a ways to go before
I reach your level of understanding.

Best wishes to all
