Double postings

I have occasionally received double postings, never a triple posting, and
usually I only get one copy of everything.

However, one thing I find odd about this list that may help explain the double
postings is:  when I receive a posting, it comes directly from the sender, not
via bardic at virginia.edu.  

So, sometimes when I send a reply to a post, I forget this little detail -- as
a result, I end up replying to the sender only, and have to go back and send
it again to the whole list.   

If *you* were the original sender, you'll get your very own personal copy of
my post :), as well as the copy that *then* went to the whole list.  <DOH!> 
:)

I'm (pretty much) in the habit now of retyping "bardic at virginia.edu" in my 
SEND TO line instead of hitting the automatic reply feature.

Is this just a weirdness of this list, Gregory?

I have been recieving double postings from this listserv since I got on 
it. I have not yet recieved a triple posting. I just got used to it so I 
hadn't said anything before.
