Still, there is something in the SCA that makes people think it's o.k. to
just recopy your stuff.  I generally don't mind, as long as I (a) get a
copy and (b) it is in a non-professional or semi-pro publication (my
copyright notices at the bottom when I post things usually say this).
Nevertheless, I have seen songs of mine in SCA newsletters which (a) did
not send me a copy and (b) the newsletter editor had heard me perform the
piece, wrote it down as I performed it, then published it.  In the later
case, the person simply could not understand why I was upset, even though
things had been mistranscribed.
