First of all this is the first posting I've seen in ages on
the bardic mailing list.  I thought it had gone away.  Happily
it has not.

You obviously have a lot of the historical down.  My own thought
is that it is a communication issue.  Be historical and perhaps you
will have lots of explaining to do.  Be `the SCA norm' and no one will
question you about `what is a minnesinger' etc.

Do what is comfortable for you.  There is a `C' in SCA after all for
creative.  

Now please don't jump on me folks.  I'm just happy the list hasn't gone
away.
