Does anyone know whether Jasir (or its variant Jarmo) are genuine historical games? The two sites below make claims about its Tartar origins and that it is still played in parts of Poland. However a Google search in Polish seemed to draw a blank. I was wondering whether it was really a recent invention with a 'fictitious' historical context.
