hist-games: Long Laurence

Thanks for this, I know of Willughby's Book but must get a copy now. I still wonder though if it has an earlier date than the mid 17th C. I can't imagine a gambling die being named after a Catholic saint in puritan England ! Perhaps it has it's origins in Mainland Europe?
