Dunno, but I don't recall it being in any of the pre-18th century
sources that I have. (I just checked Willoughby specifically, since it's
usually the most comprehensive, but I'm pretty sure I haven't come
across it in any of the ones I have.) So I'd guess that's it's late 17th
century or after...
