This is a fairly early time period, and in general not well documented (at
least for language and costumes). Does anyone have information to help

It is before the introduction of chess to Europe. I could speculate about
certain widespread games (9-man Morris, tables/backgammon, and 6-sided dice
games) that were popular in the Roman Empire, but solid evidence that they
reached Ireland would be nice.

Subject: Information please

We are having a vacation bible camp dealing with the time around 600AD-800AD
in Ireland and surrounding areas. Are there any appropriate games that came
be taught? The ages are 5-12. Thank you.
