Indeed, the Exchequer's letter had little to do with this list. But, as I said, I didn't mind the documentation procedures discussion, as mundane historical brewers also have the equivalent in their competitions. > I have therefore established a new listserv called > , where we can freely discuss > SCA-specific matters such as Period documentation and SCA brewing > politics, both in Meridies and Society-wide, as well as brewing, vintning, > and mead-making prior to AD1600. I would recommend against this. Although I am an SCA member and I could have intentionally founded a SCA brewing list, I didn't. Why? I didn't want discussions about brewing, vintning, and mead-making prior to 1600 to not include the non-SCA historical brewing community. Therefore, I would suggest that you encourage the members of your list to bring discussions relevant to this list to this list. Otherwise, we've just split the brewing community down the middle, and we all lose. -- greg ------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send email to majordomo@pbm.com containing the words "unsubscribe hist-brewing" (or unsubscribe hist-brewing-digest, if you get the digest.)
