As a Gael myself, that does not seem unreasonable. It has been said that
God invented whiskey
(or whisky, as we Scots spell it) to keep the Irish from conquering the
World, so it seems reasonable
that he had them build multiple breweries to hold them back until he could
boot some fool into inventing
distillation.
