hist-brewing: Stone brew

Sorry for the long pause everybody I was very ill and am better now. I am going to shoot off a message to the brewers at Sam Adams and see if the can tell me in more detail the recipe. I know that they used stones from Germany (the head brewers home land) , and stones from Ohio ( Mr. Cooks homeland) . They never told me the type of rocks used . They did tell me they were heated in a ceramics kiln to 2200 degrees (if my memory is not fadding )
