Steve,

I can only make a guess here. When you cook with dried herbs you usually use half the amount as fresh. I believe that in drying the essence (?) of the herb increases.

Good Luck,

Therese

Has anyone made a nettle beer using dried nettle? The
recipes I have call for twice the amount of fresh
nettle than I currently have, so I was thinking about
supplementing with dried. Should that work, or would
it be rather gross?

Regards,

Steven
