For anyone interested in the history of beer, list member
Martyn Cornell has written a just released book on 
beer history titled "Beer: The Story of the Pint (The
history of Britain's most popular drink)".  I just finished
reading through it -- it's a well researched work, well
worth reading.  

I ordered it through the UK version of Amazon.com, but
it's also available at www.beerinnprint.co.uk/BeerInnPrint.asp
Hopefully it will be available through US publishers soon.
