hist-brewing: 16th c. Dutch Beer

Hi all,

The subject line pretty much says it all: I'd like some info about what
beers the Dutch were drinking in the 16th century. I doubt that Amstel or
Heineken were too popular back then. No TV ads.

More specifically, types of malts and descriptions of flavor would be most

Thanks, have fun!
