hist-brewing: Another Porter Malt reference

Another reference:

In "How to Brew Good Beer" by John Pitt, 1864, the recipes for both
brown stout and porter only show pale, brown, and black patent malt.

I wonder what the earliest reference to using crystal and chocolate
malts is, for any beers.
