"Deadly doses: A Writer's Guide to Poisons" by Deborah Stevens rates the toxicity of Tansy (Tanacetum Vulgare) as 5 (extremely toxic) out of 6 (supertoxic eg. Belladonna, Curare, Hemlock etc.).
Deadly parts: leaves, flowers and stem contains the toxic oil tanacetin.
"Oil of tansy" is used to kill intestinal worms or induce abortion. Human poisoning often occurs by overdosing the oil or tea made from leaves. It apparently has a bitter taste.
