I live in Denver and often drive my beer over the mountains. Of course I am starting out at a mile high, but have taken cornies over 11,000 feet passes before and never noticed any effect on the beer.

Sorry to go OT, Has anybody in our happy little group ever driven corney
kegs across the mountains? I want to tak about 40 gallons of beers to
arizona from missouri. And I need FIRST_HAND knowledge on the
feasability of the beer surviving.
Thanks in advance,
Gary Phillips
