Possibly more like the "unholy grail."  The History Channel, the bastion of
information that it is, did a show on werewolves.  Besides relating them to
common folklore, etc. one segment showed a map of Europe, changing through
the years.  The data overlaid on the map was two fold... 1) werewolf
sightings and 2) flood zones.  Hmmm.  They corresponded by time and region.
It was almost like the same data was plotted out with slight variances.
