hist-brewing: kykeon

I learned at some point that kykeon was a sort of punch made my mixing wine, 
ale/beer, and mead. Was what I read wrong (I don't know where the source 
went-- it was an article about the remnants of a feast that were left in a 
Cretan tomb in Asia Minor), or are there different types? Has anyone seen 
the article?         -T.
