I suggest changing the Gaskets on the porcelin flip tops.  The Grolsch beer 
rubber gets compressed and doesn't always make a good seal.  Also, it's good 
to remove them to clean and sanitize the tops.  Most brewing suppliers sell 
replacement gaskets/seals pretty cheap.  It's a good investment for your mead 
that will be aging for a long time.
