I happened to spot this quote in Clara Furness' book _Honey Wines and Beers_
"The righteous shall be given to drink pure mead sealed with musk."
-- The Koran
and was wondering what it meant to seal a mead with musk. Does anyone one
know what this was, or how it was done? Thanks in advance!

Musk, substance with a strong odor obtained from a gland of the male musk
deer of Asia. The long-lasting odor makes musk an important ingredient in
perfumes. Musk also delays evaporation of other scents and is used in
perfumes
Today, musk is almost always synthesized.
