hist-brewing: A Patri Pugliese for Brewing?

Maybe the historical brewing interest community has reached sufficient 
mass for somebody to fill a function analogous to that filled by Patri 
Pugliese for historical swordsmanship.  Patri collects, copies, and 
disseminates whatever manuscripts he can get his hands on, for only what 
it costs him to copy and ship.
