hist-brewing: Colonial America brewing recipes and info

I am looking for brewing recipes and any other brewing information from
Colonial America.  I am particularly interested in Dutch brewers from in
and around New York.  Any information; names of books, web sites,
publications or of course any info you might have yourself, will be greatly
appreciated.
