hist-brewing: Elizabethan era research needed! Where do I start?

I am looking to find information regarding Elizabethan Era (1500's) brewing
information.  Specifically, what sort of implements did they use to
actually make the wort for a batch of beer/ale?  If anyone can point me to
some sources, I would appreciate it most heartily!
