Dear Georg,
I'm wouldn't condone any illegal activity, but for academic purposes
there are distilled recipes to be found in:
The Book of Quinte Essencia by FJ Furnivall (Early English Text
Society) - 15thC also contains details of equipment
A Leechbook or Collection of 15th century medical recipes by Warren
Dawson
Curye on Inglysch by Constance Hieatt & Sharon Butler - Late 14thC
(EETS)
However, it's worth emphasising that in England before the 16th
century distilled drinks were mainly used for medicinal rather than social
purposes.
