The College of Rencester offered dancing at its recent Celebration of Spring, and featured the services of its own period consort, the "Rascals of Rencester," who also played the Carolingian Pavane for a court processional, Both our excellent dance mistresses offered their services as well. I was very proud to call myself a Rascal -- I've not seen that many people on a dance floor since Pennsic. Hoo boy, "Trenchmore" goes on for a long time if you're playing it live! We were most kindly assisted by his Excellency of Marinus and by Paul of White Marsh and Anna of Calais, both from Caer Mear.

Tir-y-don's Baronial Birthday at the end of April might feature dancing (the flyer should say), though I'm not sure if the Rascals will be offering their services (the college students are sliding into their finals. Rowen, I'm sure you can relate...).
