academie: University

All:

Ysolt has told me candidly that she *always* plans for a track from the 
Academie.  In fact, she ususally *counts* on one from us.  Of course, things 
could change, but we're the only outfit whose consistently provided full 
tracks of classes for (what is it now?) 3 years running.

Stefan, I appreciate your exasperation -- it's difficult when you step 
forward to volunteer to do something and nobody takes you up on it.  If you 
want to go ahead and submit classes from yourself and Evelyne, there's 
nothing to stop you, but could I ask you to postpone just a little bit to 
see whether the Academie might respond to a second call?

I know we're hip-deep right now, trying to schedule classes for ADS4 and 
Juniversity all at the same time.  And I know that *I* have been guilty of 
not being more involved in either process -- work and school and vacation 
and women -- all conspiring to prevent me from playing SCA right now.  But 
the Academie is a *forever* thing, and will survive without any one specific 
person prodding it along.  If I disappear for a month or two, things will 
still get done.  That's the beauty of what we've built.

Whoops, I'm pontificating again.  :)

For Juniversity, Stefan and Evelyne sound eager to teach ECD.  What else can 
we offer?  I'm willing to commit to offer something, but would strongly 
prefer to hold off unless we absolutely need it.  Anyone?
