academie: Lezione al Palazzo (aka Isenfir's Caroso Workshop)

Greetings all,

Well, Isenfir's handy-dandy, great-fun, super-duper Caroso workshop event
"Lezione al Palazzo (Lesson at the Palace)" is now on the Kingdom calendar, with
flyer submitted and everything!  I think most of you know about this already,
but just to recap... On 3/15/03, Isenfir is hosting a day-long (8-hour)
intensive workshop on the essentials of 16th C. Italian dance a la Caroso,
followed by an evening dance party.  Alejandra de Miera (mka Susan de Guardiola)
is coming down from Connecticut and will be conducting the workshop as well as
being in charge of the dancing in the evening.  The daytime workshop will run
from 10am - 6pm and is garb-optional.  The evening dance party will run until no
one wants to be there anymore, and is garb-required (preferably 16th C. garb,
though that's not essential).

Now, because of the food requirements for this event (food is integrated into
the plans and the cost ... you can't escape eating :), I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY
asking folks to preregister ASAP!!!  The cost of the event will be $15, and will
include food all through the day and evening.

Please go ahead and send your prereg information (the usual ... name, contact
information, etc) along with $15 per person ($18 for non-SCA-members, ya know)

I hope everyone is as excited about this as I am.  This should be a
super-cool-fun event from which you'll actually leave more talented and stylish
than you arrived!

Get those cards and letters in the mail!  Hurry, space is limited!  You'll
regret it for years if you miss your chance, and you'll likely fall into a black
depression, spiraling hopelessly into a pit of despair from which you may never
fully recover.  As your friend and as a fellow dance enthusiast, and more
importantly as someone who cares about you deeply, I'd be devastated to see that
happen, so I urge you as the above-mentioned friend to send in your registration
NOW, and be here in beautiful Isenfir this March for this event, and leave tired
but with joy and gladness in your heart.
