 Anybody up that way able to offer crash space?  I'd be EXTREMELY tempted!  And I just checked the calendar - it's a week after the end of Gulf Wars.

Subject: 15th-century Italian dance: Style and Performance Workshop

Dear Colleagues:

The Dance Department, Goucher College is sponsoring a day long workshop
in 15th Century Italian Dance: Style and Performance to be taught by
Barbara Sparti at Goucher College on Saturday March 23, 2002 at Goucher
College, Towson, Maryland.

Schedule: 8:30-9:00 a.m. Coffee
9:00 -10:30: a.m. Class in 15th Century Dance
10:30-10:45 a.m. Coffee break
10:45-- 12: 15p.m. Class in 15th Century Dance
12:15- 1:30 p.m. Lunch
1:30-3:00p.m. Class in 15th Century Dance
3:15- 3:30p.m. Coffee Break
3:30-5:00 p.m. Class in 15th Century Dance
5:00-5:30 p.m. Discussion/Summary session

Tuition: $50.00 per participant ((No previous experience with 15th
century dance is required but people should have movement/dance
experience.

Each participant would need to provide their own transportation,
accommodations and food. Hotels are available within driving distance
of the campus. The Sheraton North Hotel is within walking distance.
Restaurants are within walking and driving distance of the college.

There is a requirement of a minimum of 15 participants in order for the
workshop to be held. Please send check for $50 made payable to
Chrystelle Bond, Dance Department, Goucher College, 1021 Dulaney Valley
Road, Towson, Maryland 21204 by November 1, 2002.

If there are not 15 participants enrolled by November 1, the workshop
will be postponed until 2003 when Barbara Sparti will be visiting U.S.A
once again. The checks will be returned immediately after November 1
deadline.

Please respond at your earliest convenience.
