I've never danced to glow-sticks.  Do they put out enough light to ensure
people won't stumble over each other?

Also, I don't have a copy of the Bayeaux Tapestry handy... which color of
glow-stick did they use.... neon yellow or neon green?  :)

The lighting problem for Musicians can be easily remedied (depending on
duration
of teh dancing.)  Many times have I used a little glow-stick for musical
lighting in back-stage and outdoor settings.. It just involves a little
prior
planning...
