What ever happened to Olympia?

Subject line nearly says it all. There used to be fun posts of the
progress in a game called Olympia that unfortunately had filled up
by the time I had noticed it. Was wondering if anything was
happening with the new version and anyone had any interesting
stories to tell about the programming challenges of a multiuser
email game like this.
