Description

The Tusk & Tail is a 3.5 Edition AD&D Play by E-Mail game. All characters will start at First Level. We already have a Half-Orc fighter and a Rogue, who will likely be an Elf, and recently acquired a Dwarf fighter. We will be using various modules that will be woven together into an overall story arc. While the world will be my own, the modules will help formulate and build it and for all intents and purposes, it's Greyhawk.

The hook for this will be that you all, among about 20 something other people, applied for positions as adventurers to recover an artifact. You were accepted as suitable to employ.

I like to run my games with a bit of realism, but I'm not going to count every ounce of load towards encumberance. I can be lenient and flexible as long as things don't get unreasonable, but if your character does something really stupid, something bad will probably happen. I'm not a Killer DM, and I don't subscribe to the DM vs PLAYER mentatilty, but I won't say that it's impossible that a Player Character may die.

Standard play (non-combat) will be as around-the-table. Talk amongst yourselves, tell me what you want to do and ask questions, and I will respond as quickly as possible, usually within an hour or few.

Combat rounds will be by initiative.

We are in need of

Wizard Cleric I will also accept a Ranger, Bard or other standard class.

Character building will be by the 3.5 ed. rule book. Please, no Evil Aligned characters.

I am looking for a classic game with classic characters. I will not accept Faerun characters that require level adjustments. You may work towards Prestige Classses, but you will be required to fulfill the prerequisites for them.

Will I let you cross-class? I'm not a big fan of it, and I'm hoping for enough diversity that it won't be necessary, but if you must, suitable reason and role-playing must justify it.

There are a number of character sheets out there that you can use in Word, Excel, .pdf and so forth. Please feel free to use them.
