DescriptionJUSTICE MAY BE BLIND BUT IT'S IN SHAPE.... ONE AND TWO AND THREE.....AND SMASH! It's 2044. Susie Payne is a famous aerobics instructor who owns a gym, aptly named "No Sweat", in New York City. She's young, busty, bouncy, gorgeous and a bit ditzy and attracts a huge clientele from New York City's wealthy elite, mostly overweight old men and fitness-crazy college boys who are dying to date Susie. But underneath the aforementioned exterior, Susie Payne is an evil, homicidal psychopath with another identity: Aerobicide, a dangerous criminal who wears a black mask, black spandex, and black boots.....and has enormous superhuman strength and incredible athletic and combat abilities. She and her four sidekicks, Bend, Stretch, Abs, Cardio, and Vivacious, commit armed robbery and prey on overweight men, kidnapping them, robbing them, and then making them exercise strenuously. As a child, Susie Payne lived with her mother, a NASA astrophysicist, at a research station on Ganymede, one of the moons of Jupiter. One day she was trapped outside during a gamma ray burst which hit Jupiter and its moons, followed by a bombardment of cosmic rays. Susie was exposed to the burst and the rays, which forever transformed her. She gained superhuman strength and her body chemistry was altered forever, making her an immortal who couldn't be killed except with the Marburg virus and could only be confined in a radioactive cage. She gained a taste for the salt in the human body. Susie grew up hiding her superhuman strength, her athletic abilities, and her thirst for salt, which she succeeded at doing. She also developed an interest in aerobics. At age ten, though, tragedy struck Susie. While vacationing in Japan, her mother was murdered on the Tokyo subway by a Yakuza assassin, who happened to be the crazy son of a wealthy Tokyo socialite. The tragedy angered Susie, and she developed a hatred for men, especially wealthy men. Nine years later, Susie is living in New York City and is a famous aerobics instructor, teaching aerobics classes at the "No Sweat" Gym, while going on crime sprees at night as Aerobicide with Bend, Stretch, Abs, Cardio, and Vivacious, who are aerobics instructors at "No Sweat" by day, working for Susie. On a cold, rainy New York City night, the body of a wealthy investment banker is found in an upstairs room at the gym, lying next to a treadmill that appeared to have been modified to prevent its user from getting off. The NYPD, whose officers are clients at "No Sweat", refuses to investigate. So the investment banker's daughter hires former NYPD homicide detective and private investigator John Munch, the owner of Scorpio Investigations, to investigate her father's murder. Munch's investigation reveals Susie Payne's background, including her mother's murder, and leads him right to Aerobicide and her sidekicks, but before he can reveal that Susie Payne and Aerobicide are the same person, he is kidnapped by Aerobicide and held prisoner in a warehouse to ensure his silence. He is held captive for a few days and during that time he and Aerobicide talk. During the long conversation, Munch tells Aerobicide what he has learned about her and shows her a photograph of her mother, whom she had forgotten about. Aerobicide cries, and tells Munch her mother would be saddened to know that her daughter was a psychopathic criminal. Munch tells Aerobicide that she doesn't have to be a criminal and she doesn't have to be evil. She can use her strength and abilities to battle crime and help others. And she can turn her hatred for wealthy men into a hatred for criminals. Aerobicide listens to Munch and changes her ways, and convinces her sidekicks to do the same. She releases Munch and changes back into Susie. Susie decides to put her career as an aerobics instructor on hold and she takes a job as a private investigator at Scorpio Investigations, as do Bend, Stretch, Abs, Cardio, and Vivacious. They form a five-woman investigative team, called "Team Workout". Susie sees a psychiatrist, who helps her come to terms with her mother's murder and her criminal past. Aerobicide becomes a masked, spandex-wearing, aerobics superheroine and her sidekicks becomes masked, spandex-wearing, aerobic crimefighting women. They are disguised as private detectives. Aerobicide changing from evil psychopathic criminal to superheroine couldn't have happened too soon as New York City is being terrorized by a criminal organization called "Tripwire". Its leader is an evil, disfigured US Army veteran with a hook for a left hand. And he is one evil sucker. He hates John Munch, a former fellow soldier, and wants revenge on him for leaving him for dead during combat in Africa. The man has a team of tough US Special Forces soldiers-turned criminals with elite military training, an incredibly strong, steroid-infested bodybuilder, and a Japanese sumo wrestler working for him. They are experts in weapons and all forms of unarmed combat. No one can stop them, at least not yet. Whenever there's trouble, Susie Payne ducks out of sight and transforms into Aerobicide by saying, "I could use a little exercise.....One, two, and three....One and two and three...." and then does aerobics which causes her to change into the masked, spandex-wearing Aerobicide. Then she and her sidekicks hit the streets of New York City to whip the criminals into shape. Besides her sidekicks, Aerobicide has allies who fight crime alongside her.
