The Captain and crew of the USS Renaissance have been unjustly accused of cooperating with the terrorist group known as “the League” by the Romulan Empire and stripped of their rank and position as a consequence. With the support of Starfleet Intelligence, they liberated their vessel and went deep undercover, assuming the guise of a 'rogue' or 'pirate' ship while they fought to clear their names and return the honor of their ship. Under Starfleet Intelligence orders they will be going places that no standard Federation vessel could travel, all while ducking Federation patrols and avoiding Romulan retrieval ships.
