We follow an alternative timeline in which the Ruusan conflict had catastrophic results for both the Jedi Order and the Sith. Within months, the Republic and the Sith Empire have fallen apart, crumbling into hundreds of tiny domains that struggle to survive the upcoming darkness. However, neither the Jedi nor Sith were wiped out completely. A handful of both survived and now try to bring back former glory to their orders, a none too easy task. The RPG system features a complex character creation and advancement with balanced classes, as well as diceless interaction of characters.
