DescriptionA hybrid game system mixing elements of "Red Sun Blue Sky" and "Scramble", each player takes command of pilots from the US Marines or the Imperial Japanese dueling in the skies above and around Guadalcanal in August - September 1942. No experience or knowledge of the game systems are required, any air war gaming experience is a plus. A phased initiative system call for pilot's to submit their movement orders approximately twice per week. Quick reference sheets, Aircraft Data Cards and on the job training are provided. A pdf "game map" file is distributed periodically depicting the combatants. Pilots who survive gain experience, improve their skills and pursue the coveted ace status.
