DescriptionThis RPG is *very* loosely based in the Rifts megaverse with elements of science-fiction, cyberpunk, horror, fantasy and other genres all merged into one game world. The Rifts premise is very versatile. Stories and characters can be dark and violent or funny and light-hearted. You can travel through time, or to other dimensions or worlds. Magic exists alongside highly-advanced technology. The world is Earth, but hundreds of years into the future. After a cataclysmic war, multi-dimensional portals called Rifts opened all over the Earth. Dimensional Beings discovered Earth was a nexus allowing travel to and from the Megaverse. Now mythical and alien creatures fight alongside mechwarriors, cyborgs, human mutations and denizens from other dimensions, all living and dying side-by-side in the constant struggle to survive in the World of Chaos. World of Chaos is played on a forum. It is for 18+ only. It is an open-ended storyline. No dice rolling. We would like to add 1 or 2 players at a time. The preferred posting pace is 2 to 3 times per week. We are looking for experienced simmers. Our focus is on character-driven stories and quality writing. Do you have an adventure in you? |
