DescriptionThe Hellstorm Hussars are a Battletech-Mercenary unit formed on Earth from the remains of another former mercenary command. The command (Arcani Guards) had been tapped for a raid into the clan occupation zone. Their mission had been to extract a covert operative Arlen Krechoff, however, during the engagement the unit suffered massive casualties including the commander who was killed inside his centurion. Arlen Krechoff, now the executive officer of the Hussars, assumed command of the unit after the disaster. Arlen rallied the survivors to evacuate on their dropship and out of clan space. After returning to Earth the unit disbanded, without a commander the unit was unable to maintain cohesion. Timothy Maddox had served with the unit prior to the debacle on Kikuyu. When Timothy arrived on Earth he found his former unit removed from the active roster of mercenary units. It took some work, but Timothy convinced the few able bodied survivors to join him in a new unit, the Hellstorm Hussars. Now nearing completion of their second contract, the Hellstorm Hussars on the verge of expansion. Plans are in the works for adding a second battelmech company as well as additional armor and aerospace assets. The Hellstorm Hussars is looking for players to add to their roster. No prior experience with battletech is required so long as you are willing to learn. |
