As the name hints, it is a Tolkien-inspired world. The concepts, races and powers involved in the game are relational to that of Middle-Earth (The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion). However, individual characters, occurences and events will be unique. This games does not take place in the actual Tolkien world, but a new world using its template. Your presence in the game is represented by an entity: A Maiar, lesser Ainur. Such beings could be described as lesser ranks of angels. You have three choices of disposition upon entering Arda (the world): maintain and beautify Arda, subvert and pollute Arda, or explore and embrace Arda. These three paths are simplified as Good, Evil and Neutral. As a powerful being, you have dominion over an initial region. The creatures and land are subject to your influence such that you have absolute control over them to begin. Your actions may enhance, weaken or adapt your domain, whether intentionally or not. This game is open-ended and allows player-world interaction to alter it. This will mostly happen through in-game actions, but suggestions are most welcome. This is a NEW and FORMING game.
