Description

Dark of the Day is a concept game in the Planescape setting that involves a number of different active PC parties at the same time -- if members don't get along, they may part ways, strike out solo, or rearrange their numbers however they see fit. While it is a freeform game, we will be using setting and source material from the AD&D 2nd edition game.

Available Races: Aasimar*, Bariaur, Genasi (Earth*/Fire*), Githyanki, Githzerai, Half-elf, Human, Tiefling* (Bariaur and Human concepts are strongly encouraged).

Available Classes: Fighter, Paladin*, Ranger*, Mage, Specialist (and Elementalist), Cleric, Specialty Priest, Thief (Mages, Specialists, Clerics, and Priests are strongly encouraged). Multiclass characters are also an open option.

(*Only one PC of this type will be accepted at this time; the strongest character idea will be given preference.)

All Factions and Outsiders will be permitted, but no Sects at this time. Due to the nature of the game, characters who don't fit these templates will not be accepted -- we're keeping it strictly planar.

This game is focused on the rich setting of Planescape, will be low-combat, and will center on straightforward roleplaying, the clash of ideals, and plots that deal more with mystery, intrigue, morality, and the power of belief.

Even if you don't know the first thing about the Planes, don't worry; you're still welcome, and we'll find a place for you. If you're interested and hung up on a concept, I'm more than happy to offer suggestions.

If you have any questions, please, drop us a line -- we're more than happy to help!
